Denver (February 15, 2019) – On Thursday afternoon, Denver Police responded to a hit and run accident involving 2 vehicles in Southeast Denver. One driver was seriously injured and the other fled the scene.
According to a Denver Police Department tweet, just before 1:45 pm police responded to a crash at the intersection of East Mississippi Avenue and South Valentia Street. The driver who caused crash abandoned their vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained serious injuries. DPD has not released any additional information about the injuries or the cause of the accident. At this time, it remains unclear whether the police have the suspect in custody.
