Two Dead after Rollover Crash Near KremmlingKremmling (January 4, 2019) – A couple reportedly died from a rollover crash that occurred along Trough Road, 11 miles southwest of Kremmling.

According to reporting from CBS4, the driver lost control of the Toyota Tundra before rolling down a steep embankment, stopping less than 200 feet from the Colorado river. The passengers were identified as 37-year-old Toby J. Hargadine of Kremmling and 27-year-old Crysta L. Berntsen of Minturn. Both died at the scene.

Authorities from the Grand County Sheriff’s office said that road conditions were snow-packed, a possible factor in the accident.

The bodies were discovered by a road worker who called emergency services. It took the Grand County Search and Rescue team approximately 5 hours to recover the bodies and truck.
